​Yep back to it after my holiday! Nearly a full week done......

 

Washing up to date......cases back in the loft.....feels like you have never been away!!!!

 

I do consider myself lucky to do a job that I love so much I never get the dreaded back to work feeling, I have enjoyed getting back to it and to be honest I have some holiday pounds to shift.....but what is a holiday if you don't come back a little softer round the middle!!! Haha

 

As I always say it is what we do for the majority of the time that's important

What not to do after a holiday

This is just in my opinion, and what I have been doing after my holiday, this thinking can be applied after any holiday and times like Christmas etc...

 

Don't jump straight on the scales! The chances are if you have enjoyed yourself you will have gained a few pounds on the scales.......you can probably feel it, you don't need the scales to tell you, get back to normal for a week or so and then weigh yourself

Ease yourself back into your routine, hopefully you have a healthy eating and exercise routine, start to gently ease yourself back into it over a few days

Don't beat yourself up, holidays are to be enjoyed, you may have saved all year for that holiday, so enjoy every mouthful and sip, no guilt but just make sure you have a plan to get back to afterwards where for 80% of the time you are being healthy 

Remember it is what you do for the majority of the time that is important, build those healthy habits

12 Week Womens Health Group

If you have been reading my emails and following me for a while you will know that I have been running very successful Womens Health groups online, focusing on helping people lose weight and get healthier with set menus to follow and daily exercise to do from home along with lots of coaching and motivation!!!

Are you investing in your health?

I was reading an article the other day that really interested me and it was talking about how people are struggling to pay bills at the moment and about bills going up etc....BUT


How important it was that people still invested in their health.


They were saying that often when people are looking to save money one of the first things to go are things like expensive gym memberships and healthy shopping.


I get that we all have to look to save money wherever we can but investing in our health has to come quite high up the priority list I think, don't you?


An investment into getting some exercise and buying some healthy food is an investment into making sure we stay around as long as we can with the best quality of life we can.


SO my question to you today is where is your health and wellbeing on your priority list?????


It doesn't have to be expensive, you can shop wisely and still eat well, I am a very savvy shopper! And you don't have to pay massive gym membership fees if you don't want to......walking is free and exercise from home is cheaper with no petrol costs etc.


Let me know your thoughts on this? Perhaps you have recently stopped a gym membership due to cost or are shopping differently now?
