Heres what I also did on my holidays.....
I ate intuitively, choosing lots of meat, eggs, fish, salads and all the yummy healthy foods I always enjoy
I made sure I drank loads of water and took my supplements
I hit 10k steps everyday, this was just from generally moving around, I didn't go on any big hikes
I drank alcohol everyday
I went to the gym 7 days out of the 12 I was away, doing around 30 minutes of weights each time
I got loads of sleep
But yes I did eat dessert every evening and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
I believe it is all about balance, I haven't weighed myself, I am certain I have gained weight as I can feel it, but as soon as I got home I got straight back to my usual diet and exercise routine and I know that any weight gained will come off quick
What do your holidays look like? Some people actually lose weight on holiday sometimes as they are more active and eat better......have you been away yet this year?
