Detox is Done!!!

So I did it and made it to the end of my 9 days. I lost 9lbs and 11.5 inches in total, losing 2 inches off each thigh which was amazing!!

I feel great, my skin and hair are good, my energy levels are great and my clothes fit better.

I am now going to go back onto following my own 28 day Clean and Lean plan as I was before I did the detox to get me to my pre pregnancy weight but I am well on the way now!

Day 6

I've made it to 6 days and I'm feeling great!! I've lost another inch and a half and can really feel it in my clothes.

I haven't been feeling hungry and to be honest I find that having a 600 calorie meal on the evening really fills me up. I've had a homemade curry, tuna salad and a chilli so far!

So 3 days left to go now and I'm feeling good!

Day 3 update

So today is day 3 of my 9 day detox. I weighed and measured this morning and I've lost 4lbs and 7 inches!

I knew last night I had lost some off my tummy and this morning I found that 2 inches had gone off my waist. I feel great today, not really that hungry considering its been nearly 72 hours since I ate a meal! As I said at the start I have been following my own clean eating plan and have lost a stone on that but just wanted to do this cleanse as a kickstart really. The plan is to go back to my own clean eating plan next week.

It's strange how habits develop and for me I've noticed that with coffee and chocolate. I didn't really drink a lot of coffee before but since having my baby I seem to have started to drink more and so that's the thing I've missed most on the detox so far! As for chocolate I used to eat some everyday and thought I couldn't live without it, however I gave sugar up 10 weeks ago and so now have no cravings at all.

It shows me that I was in a habit of having chocolate which I've now broken and hopefully this detox will stop my coffee habit too!

So tonight I'm looking forward to a healthy chicken curry with whole grain rice and I shall savour every mouthful!!

Day 2!!!

So day one of my detox is done with onto day 2 I go.

Yesterday was ok I kept busy with a 20 minute walk in the morning and a half hour Unite session in the afternoon. I started to get a bit of a headache about 3pm but nothing too serious. I have to admit I couldn't stand cooking tea for Jess and Jamie so Jamie took over that duty last night and I had a soak in the bath. Off to bed at 9.30pm and that set me up nicely for today.

Jude had me up at 5.30am this morning so today is going to be a long day I think. Im feeling great though, did a 10 minute HIIT workout first thing and I am just going to keep my mind occupied so I can't think about food.

Looking forward to Day 3 tomorrow when I weigh and measure in the morning, get an extra shake for breakfast and hurray get to eat my meal tomorrow night.....already have a Slow Cooker Chicken Curry and wholegrain rice planned!

Detox time!!!

So tomorrow I am starting the forever living clean 9 detox plan. Wish me luck!!

So far since having Jude I have been trying to following my own clean eating plan and it's been going really well. It's been 9 weeks since I had any sugar and cutting out chocolate has been a massive achievement for me believe me!

I now feel that I need a boost and so that's why I've decided to do the clean 9. The plan is then to go back onto my own clean eating plan afterwards which I have to say has been easy to follow and I've not been hungry! I've done the clean 9 twice before and had great results both times so I know it works.

I feel that the detox is a great boost to clean out the system and I've always felt great on it.

So Im feeling good and really motivated, for me and indeed for most people it's very much about my mental attitude, if I'm in the right zone mentally then I can do anything!

I will keep you updated as to how I'm feeling over the 9 days so keep an eye on my blog.
