Is It Time For A Change?

Hi


Everywhere I go people tell me they are desperate to lose weight.
They tell me about this and that diet they have tried and keep trying.
This slimming club and that class
Starvation and being beasted.
Only to binge at the end of the day (or week if they made it that far)
White knuckling it.
Praying that  will power will get you through the day.
Only then to jump on the sales and see a 1 Lb loss????
WHAT
For all that misery?
“ If only I had eaten less”
“ If only I have added MORE exercise into the week”
“ I would of seen a bigger drop”
Feeling demotivated, upset and depressed

You throw  in the towel order a Chinese, sink a bottle of
wine and think
why bother 
Then to mentally beat yourself up and vow you’ll give it another
bash on Monday (are you feeling this today??)

All that mental energy distracting you from living a happy life.
Going about your day obsessed with food and what you are going to eat next.
Thinking about all the foods you can’t have.

important to look at the whole picture…..
not just eating less and moving more but the quality of the food, your sleep, how much stress you are under….The day to day chronic stress that could be massively impacting your results.

Exercising at the right intensity for you so you are not overloading MORE stress onto your body,
Your hormones and lifestyle all need to be taken into consideration when planning your nutrition and fitness programme.

Feel The Fear And Do It Anyway

Hi

On this Monday morning I wanted to use this quote as it is something I live my life by...

I feel fear every time I


get up on stage to teach


go on a new course or convention where I don't know anyone

launch a new course class or workshop

do a new routine in class

change up my own nutrition and have to give up things I like


BUT I DO IT ANYWAY


A few weeks ago I stood up on stage in front of 65 people and launched a brand new Clubbercise class...teaching 16 tracks I had only had a few days to learn

Was I fearful?? Yes!!!!


How does this relate to you...??


I get that some people are fearful of trying a new class, taking up a new activity where they don't know people or changing their eating habits even though they know they need to!!!

But my advice would be to feel the fear and do it anyway....


You might like the class, meet new people or feel healthier from the dietary changes!!!

Today Lets Talk about your Nutrition

Hi!

​​Here is what you need to ask yourself…

WHAT are you eating?
Are you eating a lot of carbohydrates, dairy and gluten?
CUT THEM OUT and add in plenty of good fats, good carbohydrates ant most importantly VEGETABLES!
ARE you snacking?
It is a great idea to keep a food diary, you will be surprised how much you ACTUALLY eat in a day...I am always happy to take a look for you
ARE you eating processed food?
Cook from SCRATCH with organic and high quality ingredients.
WHAT sort of workout are you doing?
Make your workout a HIIT workout… these are high intensity and get your metabolism boosted for the next 24 hours.
What Is Your behaviour around food, eating and meal times?
Are you eating in a rush? Do you eat differently when you eat with work colleagues, or family members or friends and your kids?
If you are stressed, excited, happy, sad how does this affect your food choices, speed you eat your food?

Be aware of the different behaviour you display around meal times in different circumstances – this is really interesting and you don’t often think of it.
Learn to be mindful about what you eat and why...are you eating for hunger or some other reason???
