Have you ever had the courage to walk into a gym or a fitness class for the first time, maybe with a friend or even more scary on your own!
It can be very daunting if you have done it.
I remember the first time I went into a gym and also the first time I went to a class.
You think everyone will know each other, or everyone will be fitter than me, or everyone will be super skinny, or they will all look at me if I don't know what I am doing, am I right?
Well even if they do all know each other they probably only met through that class and if you say hi they will usually say hi back!
Yes some of them may be fitter than you but guess what if you start coming to classes you will get fitter too!
Chances are there will be people of all different shapes and sizes, in my classes they certainly are.
And lastly believe me no one is taking a blind bit of notice of what you are doing, as an instructor I can tell you they generally do not take their eyes off the person up at the front!
So if you have been thinking about starting up some classes or the gym then just do it, you might just enjoy it and what is the worst that can happen?
That applies to trying something different as well, don't be scared of a new class or trying a bootcamp or changing something, again you might just like it!
