I had a great pregnancy and felt so well and healthy throughout I was really lucky.
The birth was also a great experience, a c section was not what I wanted really but in the end Jude was delivered healthy and well and I was discharged 24 hours after having him.
My recovery as gone well, I was very sore for the first few weeks but started to do gentle pelvic floor work from day 3. I then increased my abdominal work taking it very easy after a couple of weeks. I also have been doing lots of walking, I started with just 10 minutes building up to 40 minutes now.
I had my 6 week post natal check up last week and was given the all clear to exercise so the next day I tried a HIIT workout at home keeping it low and I felt absolutely fine so my plan is to keep doing a 10 minute HIIT workout at home now every day gradually increasing the intensity.
I also have no abdominal separation and my pelvic floor seems to be in great working order which is fab!!!
As for classes, they have been going great and Laura and Bev have been doing a great job of keeping everything ticking over in my absence. The plan for me is to return on the 1st September and I can't wait to see you all.
